Introduction to the Big Buddha in Cave 2: Cave 2 is located on the cliff halfway east of the Shangsi Temple. It is also called the Big Buddha Cave. Inside the large cliff-shaped niche is the 4.29-meter-high Maitreya Buddha sitting in lotus position.
