Jiangnan Cedar King Introduction: Jiangnan Cedar King was originally two cedar trees with a height of more than 34 meters and a girth of about 4 meters. The two trees are very close to each other and stand on the west side of Hualin Academy. It is said that they were planted by Hu Zhongyao, the founder of Hualin Academy, more than a thousand years ago. One of them was burned down by lightning in April 1979. The existing tree is always green all year round and has no signs of damage. It is called the "King of Jiangnan Cedars" and is a key protected tree.
