The Linkou Eight Women Casting River Site Memorial Hall is the only memorial hall in China with the theme of the eight female heroes and the historical facts of the Second Anti-Japanese Route Army. It is also a special memorial hall displaying the history and culture of Diaoling Town in Linkou County and the Anti-Japanese War culture. In 1938, on the banks of the Ushun River in Sanjiazi Village, Diaoling Town, Linkou County, eight female anti-union warriors including Leng Yun fought bloody battles against the Japanese invaders to cover the movement of large troops. After running out of ammunition, they walked hand in hand into the cold Ushun River and died heroically. The "Eight Girls" are the pride of Linkou. At the critical moment of life and death, they used their flesh and blood to create the immortal soul of the Chinese nation and become a glorious song in the history of the Chinese nation. The Eight Nu Toujiang Site is located in Diaoling Town and consists of five parts: an artificial lake, a memorial hall, a forest of cultural monuments and gardens, and a tourist service area. The memorial hall is divided into four halls, namely the preface hall, the first hall, the second hall and the third hall. The prologue hall displays the statues of the eight female heroes and the large relief sculptures of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Union soldiers who bravely fought against the Japanese pirates. The first hall is composed of four parts: "Dustful Years", "Eight Heroines", "Western Expedition" and "Heroic Martyrdom"; the second hall is composed of " It consists of three parts: "Important Battles", "Mainstream" and "Eight Heroines Shine for the Ages"; the third hall is used as a temporary exhibition hall.
