Introduction to East Lake: Du Mu once praised this place as "a ten-hectare flat lake with willow embankments". Since then, East Lake has been a famous scenic lake. After the Ming Dynasty, it was divided into three lakes: East, West and North. After the Republic of China, the banks were built with red stones, and the North Lake became the South and North Lakes. Today's West Lake is connected by bridges and culverts, and after the Song Dynasty, it was collectively called East Lake.
