Scenic spot introduction:

Wuchen Pagoda is the oldest hollow stone pagoda in Fujian Province. It is located several hundred meters southwest of the nine thousand-year-old temples in Fengding Village, Xiyuan Township, Xianyou County, Fujian Province. The Wuchen Pagoda was built in 865 AD (the sixth year of Xiantong reign of Emperor Yizong of the Tang Dynasty) by Zhengjue, the founder of the nine temples. It was originally a Dabi Pagoda that was cremated after the death of the monks. It was named Wuchen Pagoda during the Chongning reign of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty. According to expert research, the Wuchen Pagoda was burned by bandits in 1146 AD (the 16th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty).
