Introduction to Diaoyuan: Diaoyuan Village was built in the late Tang Dynasty and is a settlement of descendants of Ouyang Xiuzong, a famous politician and writer in the Northern Song Dynasty. The village is full of young women and children, enjoying themselves, just like the Peach Blossom Land described by Tao Yuanming. During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, there were more than 1,300 households with stone carvings, wood carvings, paintings, couplets, plaques and carved screens, with a population of nearly 10,000, and more than 60 shops. In addition, there were theaters, casinos, racecourses, etc., so it was known as "Little Nanjing". Officials and wealthy businessmen from hundreds of miles around often come here to gamble, listen to operas, and taste tea and drink.
