Beijing Baicaopan Natural Scenic Area is the highest peak in southwest Beijing and an important source of wild Chinese herbal medicine in northern my country. It is on the same ridge as Baihua Mountain, Laolong's Nest, Shanshen Temple Mountain, and Ash Tree Spire. The area is characterized by an alpine meadow landscape with blooming flowers, rich in exotic flowers and herbs, and wild fruits and vegetables. It is A treasure trove of wildlife. Baicaopan Natural Scenic Area is located in Simatai Village, Xiayunling Township, Fangshan District, 120 kilometers away from the urban area. The scenic spot includes seven scenic spots including Baicao Bank, Kunpeng Gorge, Thyme Valley, Pine Forest Round City, Laodao Cave, Dragon Bone Stone Hall and Xinglin Garden. It is known as the eight sceneries on the mountain, the eight sceneries under the mountain, and 106 landscapes. How to get there:
Bus route: Take bus 917 at Tianqiao or Liuliqiao East Station to Fangshan Bus Station, transfer to bus 20 and get to the parking lot of Tengma Hotel in Simatai Village (bus 20 has three departures every day, at 8 a.m. : 40, 13:40, 15:30 in the afternoon)
Self-driving route: National Highway 108, passing through Tanzhesi Town, Hebei Town, Fozizhuang Township, Xiayunling Township and four kilometers down the road to Longmentai Village Arriving soon.
