Introduction to the ancestral court of the Caodong Sect: Dongshan is the ancestral court of the Caodong Sect of Chinese Buddhism. As early as 840 AD, Japanese monks such as Washi Nomitsu and Korean Rigen lived in Dongshan for a long time, allowing Sodong Buddhist disciples to enter Japan and Korea.
