Introduced by Huang Tingjian: Huang Tingjian (1045-1105), courtesy name Lu Zhi, also known as Valley Old Man, was a famous poet and calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty. He was as famous as Su Shi because of his "magnificent writings, which are outstanding in the world" and was also known as "Su Huang". Huang Tingjian specializes in calligraphy, and is good at calligraphy, cursive, and regular script. He is one of the "Four Calligraphers of the Song Dynasty". There are more than 2,000 pieces of his works left in the world. His poems are famous all over the world for "turning iron into gold and reborn as a whole". Many followers follow his style and he is revered as the founder of Jiangxi Poetry School.
