In 1988, the Color Sculpture Art Museum was established at Shuanglin Temple on the north side of Southwest Qiaotou Village, Pingyao County, Shanxi Province. There are more than 2,000 painted sculptures in existence, the big ones are more than ten feet, and the small ones are about a foot.
