Introduction to Shalimar Garden: Shalimar Garden means Palace of Joy. It is a famous garden built by Emperor Chakh Jihan in 1642 AD. It is one of the rarest gardens in the world. It can be called the perfect embodiment of the strong national power of the Mughal Dynasty. The builders transplanted the different features of nature into the garden completely, creating an elegant and charming natural environment. It was not only a place of entertainment for the royal family, but also a palace where the emperor and his entourage lived when they went to Lahore. Therefore, some pavilions and summer residences were built in the garden with marble and red sandstone.
