Introduction to the Lotus Temple: The Lotus Temple is located in the southeast of Delhi. It is a unique building. It is different from the Hindu temple, the Islamic mosque, and even the temples of other larger sects in India. Not even remotely similar. Built in 1986, it is a temple of the Tatung Sect, which advocates the same origin of mankind and the unity of the world. The appearance of the Lotus Temple resembles a blooming lotus, so it is called "Lotus Temple". It is 34.27 meters high and 74 meters in diameter at the base. It is composed of three layers of petals, all made of white marble. There are 9 connected clear pools on the edge of the base, supporting this huge "lotus".
