Scenic spot introduction:

Guiyang Forest Park was originally the Experimental Forest Farm of the Academy of Forestry. Later, it was renamed Forest Park in 1961 because of its lush trees, various tree species, and spectacular scenery. Due to the many types of trees, the forest has been established for a long time, the area is vast, the springs are gurgling, and rare birds are found. With its chirping cicadas, chirping birds, and fragrant grass, it is known as "one of the eight scenic spots in Guiyang" and ranks first in the country's urban forest parks. It was listed as a "Famous Garden in China" in 1999.

Guiyang Forest Park is located in Tuyunguan, only 2.5 kilometers away from Guiyang City. The mountains are rolling and the land is fertile, stretching for dozens of kilometers, with a total area of ​​3,900 acres, of which 90% is forest coverage. The park is rich in resources, including catalpa, camphor, pomelo, oak, sandalwood, pine, fir, poplar, camellia oleifera and other ten species. In several forest areas, there are thousands of species of precious trees under national first-level protection, and a variety of famous and rare flowers and trees are cultivated; there are also a variety of wild animals living there. The park also preserves many cliff-carved steles. Nearby are the original Guandi Temple, Jieguan Hall and Ji'en and Keqi pavilions. There are more than 20 stone carving archways erected along the way, the most famous of which is the "Wanli Fenghou" archway by Jingbiao Yang Fang.
