Introduction to Kyoto Tower: The Kyoto Tower standing in front of Kyoto Station was built in 1964. It is 131 meters high and shaped like a candle. It is a good place to overlook Kyoto. Kyoto Tower is built by stacking steel rings. When you climb the tower, you can have a panoramic view of the streets, surrounding shrines, temples and the 36 peaks of Higashiyama.
