Yulin Hongshi Gorge Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Hongshi Gorge is located in the Yuxi River Valley at the foot of Hongshan Mountain at the entrance of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty, 5 kilometers north of Yulin City. Because the mountains are all made of red rocks, it is named Hongshi Gorge. Two mountains are facing each other, a stone gorge opens in the middle, and a clear stream forms an oasis. Whenever the sunset shines in the west, the red rocks in Hongshi Gorge are particularly beautiful. "Red Mountain Sunset" is known as one of the eight scenic spots in Yulin.

Hongshi Gorge passes through the Yuxi River Valley and is divided into two sections, the north and the south. The upper part of the North Gorge is a natural lake, forming an ecological area. The South Gorge is carved into caves along the walls. There are large and small grottoes, and there are reshaped grottoes along the steps of the grottoes. Grotto Buddha statue. The most ornamental value of Hongshi Gorge is the cliff stone carvings on the east and west walls.
