Introduction to the Forty Pillar Palace: The Forty Pillar Palace (Chehel Sotoun) is one of the most important palaces of the Safavid Dynasty (1501-1736 AD). It was built in 1647. There are many precious historical oil paintings and various cultural relics preserved in the palace. It is named after the reflection of twenty columns beside the rectangular pool in front of the palace into forty columns.
