Introduction to the Grand Theater: The Grand Theater was built from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AD. The architectural style is a mixture of Greek and Roman features. The semicircular shape, built along the Panayir hillside, is a characteristic of Greek theaters; but the entrance is an arched door, which is mixed with Roman architectural style. The theater can accommodate 25,000 people. In the past, the whole city came here to attend concerts during the annual festival.
