Introduction to Dening Hall: is the main building of Beiyue Temple. The hall faces south and is nine rooms wide and six rooms deep. It is surrounded by an external corridor and has double eaves verandah style, glazed tile ridges and blue tiles. The top is 30 meters high and covers an area of 2009.8 square meters. It is a palace-style building with double eaves and high eaves. It is paved with green tiles and yellow glazed tiles as the ridge. The murals on the walls of the hall are said to have been painted by Wu Daozi, a great painter of the Tang Dynasty, and there is a legend of "Quyang ghost, Zhaozhou water".
