Scenic spot introduction:

Wanrong Dongyue Temple, also known as Taishan Temple, is a Taoist temple that worships the god of Mount Tai in Dongyue. The temple is dedicated to Emperor Dongyue "Huang Feihu". Nowadays, the statue of Emperor Dongyue has been demolished, but most of the buildings in the temple are well preserved. The founding date of the temple is unknown. It existed during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty (627-649). It was rebuilt from the 28th year of the Yuan Dynasty to the first year of Dade (1291-1297), and was expanded and repaired in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings in the temple include Feiyun Tower, Meridian Gate, Xian Hall, Xiang Pavilion, Dongyue Emperor Hall and the Bedroom. Among them, Feiyun Tower gives full play to the strengths of Chinese architectural techniques, with its ingenious structure, exquisite shape and magnificent appearance. It can be called a masterpiece in Chinese pavilion architecture and is also a rare physical material among existing ancient buildings. Wanrong Dongyue Temple is located in the southeast corner of Jiedian Town, Wanrong County, Yuncheng, Shanxi.

Dongyue Temple faces south from north to south, 212 meters long from north to south, 50 meters wide from east to west, and covers an area of ​​about 10,000 square meters. The existing buildings on the central axis of the temple include Feiyun Tower, Meridian Gate, Xian Hall, Xiang Pavilion, main hall and Yama Palace, with east and west corridors on both sides.
