Introduction to historical sites: The Zhonglie Pavilion was built in the mid-to-late 1920s. It is a memorial pavilion built by the Republic of China government to commemorate the officers and soldiers of the Northern Expedition who died in Jiujiang. There is a monument in front of the original pavilion. Destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. The building faces southwest to northeast and has a Western-style reinforced concrete structure. The square stone pavilion has a side length of 5.6 meters. There are two pavilion columns on each side of the pavilion, with a total of eight huge Ionic columns. Four thick square columns support the roof. Its architectural shape is exquisite and large in size. It is the only building in Jiujiang commemorating the Northern Expeditionary Army and has high historical and cultural relic value.
