Introduction to Peking Road: Peking Road stretches from Canton Road to the west and Nathan Road to the east. It was named in memory of Paul Chater, who developed the area. Later, in order to avoid confusion with Chater Road in Central, it was renamed to its present name in March 1909. Since Tsim Sha Tsui is a major consumption area for foreign tourists, there are many high-end shopping stores and star hotels on Peking Road.
