Dongdatang Scenic Area in Shawan County is a tourist area characterized by rich grassland culture and long-standing Buddhist culture. It has an autonomous region-level natural wildlife reserve. Dongdatang is connected to the northern foot of Haberga Mountain and to the east is a joint venture. It is more than 80 kilometers away from Shawan County. The area has a humid climate and abundant water resources. As we pass over the mountains, our eyes suddenly open up: continuous peaks and lush forests; on the vast hilly plains of the front mountain belt, herd horses gallop and cows and camels pace, leisurely and contented. Dongdatang Scenic Area is located deep in the Tianshan Mountains, covering an area of more than 30 square kilometers, with an altitude from 1,600 meters to 5,300 meters. It is divided into three areas: East, South and West. They are composed of Baili Glacier, dense forest ravine and hilly grassland. It consists of scenic scenery, in which 17 species of second-class protected animals such as red deer, goose-throated antelope, argali, and brown bears live. How to get there:
Bus route: Take the shuttle bus from Shawan or Shihezi to Shichang Town, and then take a local van at the Shichang Town bus station to the scenic spot.
Self-driving route: Start from Shawan or Shihezi, follow National Highway 312 to Group 143, turn south to the Shinan Highway, and drive about 50 kilometers along the asphalt road to Shichang Town, and then start from Shichang Town Nanshan Cement Factory is about 10 kilometers up the mountain along the Dong Datang special road.
