Shunan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area is one of the top 40 tourist destinations in China. It is the only original "green bamboo park" in my country that features bamboo scenic resources and also has cultural landscapes. Shunan Bamboo Sea is located between Changning and Jiang'an counties in Yibin, Sichuan Province. It was originally named Wanlingqing. The Bamboo Sea in Southern Shu can be said to be a sea of bamboo. The scenic area covers an area of 120 square kilometers and the central scenic area is more than 70,000 acres. It is like a vast green sea, hence the name "Bamboo Sea". There are many plants in the Bamboo Sea, including 58 species of bamboo alone. There are more than ten kinds of rare animals in the forest. Integrating cultural and natural landscapes, there is now the only Bamboo Sea Museum in China that collects and displays bamboo specimens and bamboo cultural materials.Attractions distribution:
Shunan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area consists of Jiang'an East Scenic Area and Changning West Scenic Area. There are 124 scenic spots in the Bamboo Sea in southern Shu, including 15 first-class scenic spots and 19 second-class scenic spots. The Bamboo Sea is famous for its majestic, dangerous, secluded, steep and beautiful scenery, including Tianhuang Temple, Yaobao Village, Xianyu Cave, Qingdao Landscapes such as Dragon Lake, colorful waterfalls, ancient battlefield, Guanyun Pavilion, Jade Corridor, Chahua Mountain, and Thirteen Bridges on Huaxi are known as the "Top Ten Bamboo Sea". Recommended itinerary for a two-day tour of the Bamboo Sea in southern Sichuan:
Day 1: Depart from Chengdu in the morning. On the way, you can overlook the confluence of the Yangtze River, Minjiang River and Jinsha River. Arrive at Shunan Bamboo Sea after lunch. Visit the Wangyou Valley Scenic Area and go to the Shunan Bamboo Sea Museum to trace the ancient national culture.
The next day: After breakfast, go to the Buddhist and Taoist cultural resort known as the "Pearl of the Bamboo Sea", which is mainly characterized by Danya ancient caves and cultural relics → Explore the wonders of Xianyu Cave and Tianbao Ancient Village , the Danxia stone carvings of "Thirty-Six Strategies"; after lunch, step on the Guanhai Tower to enjoy the panoramic view of the bamboo sea and the emerald corridor. In the afternoon, drive back to Chengdu.

How to get there:
To get to the Bamboo Sea Scenic Area from Yibin City, you can take a bus from Yibin South Railway Station to Changning County, and then transfer to the west gate of the Shunan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area.

Shunan Bamboo Sea ticket price:
During the peak season from January 1 to November 30 every year, the ticket price is 110 yuan/person (postage postcard ticket price is 112 yuan/person)
During the off-season from December 1 to December 31 every year, Ticket price is 60 yuan/person (postage postcard ticket price is 62 yuan/person)
Free admission range:
(1) Seniors over 70 years old with ID card, height 1.1 meters (not Including children under 1.1 meters), active military personnel and revolutionary disabled military personnel must present valid certificates.
