Introduction to Chengqing Tower: It is the back building of the palace, also known as the Buddhist hall. It is five rooms wide and was built during the Kangxi period. It is a hard-mounted, single-eave, two-story building. The first floor is where the royal palace secretly stores antique treasures and royal gifts. The second floor houses the statue of Avalokitesvara with Thousand Arms and Thousand Eyes, and now houses the portraits of the princes of the palace.
