Introduction to Baiyin Aobao Mountain: Baiyin Aobao Mountain is a provincial nature reserve with sand cloud sand forest as its main protection object. It is located on the southeast side of the Mongolian Plateau, with a total area of 13,862 hectares. The area is densely covered with sandy land, hills, and river valleys, and teeming with higher plants, making it an excellent place for wild animals to thrive. The famous red-skinned cloud sand forest is located in the Baiyin Aobao Mountain Reserve and is known as "the only remaining dark coniferous forest natural biological gene bank in the Inner Mongolia plateau grassland area." The establishment of the Baiyin Aobao Mountain Nature Reserve is of great significance to the protection of the forest system, ecological environment and grassland animal husbandry in northern China.
