"Taikang Zhi" of Jin Dynasty records: "There is Banquan Spring one mile east of Zhuolu City." Huangdi Spring has many magical features. There are seven springs shaped like the Big Dipper at the bottom of the pool. It is estimated that they originate from a depth of 5,000 meters. They do not freeze in winter, do not rot in summer, do not dry up in long droughts, and do not overflow in floods. The water temperature remains between 12.5-13.4℃ all year round. The water is as dark as ink, and crystal clear when picked up.
