Building introduction: The mud walls of wooden houses are a major feature of Baima Tibetan houses. This kind of dwelling is entirely made of wood, with wooden pillars arranged one by one to form a wall from low to high, and then tied tightly with ropes, leaving a door in front for easy entry and exit. The tiles on the roof are cut into rectangular planks, which are laid out on the roof like fish scales. There are large stones at both ends of the planks to prevent them from being blown away by strong winds. Some walls were coated with mud to seal the gaps.
