Introduction to Shenqing Temple: Shenqing Temple was founded in the reign of Jin Youzhen (1213-1217). It was built successively during the Yuan and Ming dynasties. It is located on the east side of Yanxia Cave in Kunyu Mountain. The pavilion in the temple is spacious, surrounded by forests and springs, and has a spectacular atmosphere. It was gradually destroyed. There was originally a stele in the temple, which was seven feet high. When struck, it clanked like a copperware, hence the name "Bronze Stele". On the side of the stele was an ancient cypress tree, which was thick enough to encircle it. Its trunk was old and hard as iron. Take a look at the west stone well and you will see that the water in the well is clear and uninterrupted all year round. It is said that Qizhen drank this water when he was practicing, so it is called the "Dan Well". Looking at the Yanxia Cave, one mile to the west, the glow appears from time to time. It is colorful and spectacular. It has always been the crown of Kunyu's scenic spots.
