Scenic spot introduction:

Cai's ancient residential building complex is known as the "Grand View Garden of Southern Fujian Architecture". It is located in Zhangli Village, Guanqiao Town, Nan'an City, Fujian Province. It was mainly built by Cai Qichang and his son Cai Shen from the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty to the Xuantong three years. There are a total of 16 relatively complete houses in existence. Most of the buildings are of bucket-type wooden structure. The main building is a five-bay large house on the hard mountain swallowtail ridge, with rolling shed-style wing houses on the left and right. Most of the single buildings have three or two or five bays. The layout of the bays and the buildings contain various inscriptions by literati of the late Qing Dynasty. Walking in the Cai's ancient residential complex, you feel like you are in a colorful Minnan architectural museum of the Qing Dynasty, with a panoramic view of the wonderful buildings.

How to get there:

Take the "Quanzhou-Shuitou" shuttle bus from Quanzhou Bus Station and get off at Guanqiao Town. The fare is about 7 yuan per person. After arriving at Guanqiao Town, take a local motorcycle to Cai's Ancient House, which costs about 5 yuan.
