School introduction: Yangzheng Primary School was built in 1900 (the 26th year of Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty) by Mr. Liang Haochi, a Cantonese businessman who was in Yantai at that time. The patriotic businessman Liang Haochi came to Tobacco to do business in 1868. Everything went smoothly in the business field, and he became more and more worried about the country and the people. Especially when he saw foreigners running rampant in the city, people suffering, and poor children displaced, he was worried and constantly thought of "education to save the country, education to prosper." "Help" thinking. Therefore, in 1900, he generously donated a huge amount of money, rented the land of Guangrentang, built 16 houses, and founded Yantai Yangzheng School (renamed Yangzheng Primary School in 1913). Yangzheng Primary School was the first school to abolish private schools and establish schools for ethnic minorities in Yantai in the late Qing Dynasty. It has a historical position in the history of Yantai’s education development and has a historical position of inheriting the past and ushering in the future.
