Site introduction: Jinfengtai was built by Cao Cao in the north of the west wall of Ye City in the 18th year of Jian'an, using the wall as the foundation. The platform is eight feet high and has one hundred and thirty-five rooms. During the Sixteen Kingdoms period, later Zhao had the three towers elevated and decorated, making them better than when Cao Wei first built them. In order to avoid the taboo, Emperor Jianwu Shi Hu changed the golden tiger to a golden phoenix and installed a golden phoenix on the top of the platform. A layer of bricks was added around the platform.
