Introduction to Shuangling Temple: Shuangling Temple was built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and is a holy place for Buddhism. Legend has it that the eminent monk Fawu from the Western Regions traveled here, took a turtle and a snake as his disciple, and ordered two of his immortals to guard the mountain. The spiritual snake guards the Guanyin Wall, and the divine turtle lies on Maitreya Mountain. Later, Master Fawu raised funds to build the Shuangling Temple for the world to worship these two immortals.
