Introduction to Masaoka Shiki's Haiku Poetry Stele: There is a Japanese stone stele in the backyard of the government office. It is made of pebbles and the main body of the stele is carved from granite. The haiku inscribed on the stele was written by the Japanese Shiki Masaoka, and the content expresses the poet's comfortable feelings of being proud of the spring breeze, singing songs about wine, and enjoying himself. It is said that in 1940, fellow residents of Ehime Prefecture, Japan, erected the first haiku poem monument in Kinshu Tenhou Palace in memory of Masaoka Shiki. In 1945, the Soviet Red Army liberated Jinzhou, Luda was restored, and the stone monument disappeared. In the late 1990s, the monument was discovered again during construction work in the city. After the Jinzhou Deputy Capital Office was renovated, the monument was placed in the forest of steles in the backyard of the office.
