Introduction to the Ehu Meeting: In the second year of Chunxi in the Southern Song Dynasty (1175 AD), Lu Zuqian invited Zhu Xi, Lu Jiuling and Lu Jiuyuan to have a philosophical debate here, which was known in history as the "Ehu Meeting". It is an exemplary academic symposium in the history of Chinese philosophy, the first of its kind to be held in an academy. Xin Qiji and Chen Liang's second "Ehu Meeting" coincided with the destruction of the motherland's mountains and rivers. Faced with such a national disaster, people with lofty ideals fought for the reunification of the motherland and carried forward the idea of patriotism.
