The Huai'an Museum is the cultural relic collection, display and archaeological research center in Huai'an. The museum has a rich collection of cultural relics, including ceramics, jade, bronzes, coins, calligraphy and paintings, etc., especially the engraved bronzes unearthed from the Warring States Tomb in Gaozhuang in 1978. Important artifacts from the Warring States Period such as bronze carriage ornaments, original porcelain incense burners with double chimneys and lids; calligraphy and paintings by famous modern artists donated by Mr. Xu Bopu in 1984; and the wood-carved drum cart unearthed from the Warring States Period Tomb in Yunhe Village in 2004 are the special features of the collection.Attractions distribution:
Huai'an Municipal Museum was founded in 1959. It is a local comprehensive history museum. The current site is located on the west side of Huai'an Municipal Government. The main body is a magnificent building that combines classical charm and contemporary atmosphere. The museum covers an area of 13 acres. The main body of the museum is It has four floors and one underground floor, with a total construction area of 12,000 square meters, and is divided into different functional areas such as a multi-functional hall, a basic exhibition hall, a temporary exhibition hall, a cultural relics warehouse and an underground parking lot.
