Introduction to morning alms: Morning alms is a tradition in Luang Prabang. Everyone gets up early in the morning to prepare glutinous rice for alms, and then sit or kneel in the night in front of the door, waiting quietly. The arrival of monks wearing orange cassocks. Around six o'clock, the monks practicing in the temple will line up neatly and walk along the street to pray for alms. Believers kneel devoutly on the roadside and give rice balls and other food to passing monks.
