East Hall Introduction: The East Hall is about 24 meters long, 11 meters wide and 2.5 meters high. It can accommodate more than 200 people. It is the largest and most luxuriously decorated hall in the White House. It was once the venue for weddings and funerals of U.S. presidents and their families. Four presidents’ daughters held weddings here, and seven presidents held funerals here. Now, this hall is used by the President of the United States to hold swearing-in ceremonies, press conferences, cocktail parties, Christmas balls, etc.
