Baishishan Scenic Area is known as "Little Huangshan". It is the only global geopark in my country with marble peak forest landforms. It has "Baishi Qingyun", the first of the twelve ancient scenic spots in Laiyuan. The park is characterized by the marble peak forest of Baishi Mountain, supplemented by geological relics such as the Shipuxia granite waterfall group and the Jumayuan structural spring group. Baishi Mountain is located 15 kilometers south of Laiyuan County, Baoding, and occupies the northernmost tip of the 800-mile Taihang Mountain. The scenic area covers an area of 54 square kilometers, with three peaks, six terraces, nine valleys and eighty-one peaks. How to get there:
Transportation by bus: Take the Baishishan bus from the old bus station in Laiyuan County to the east gate of the scenic spot. After arriving at the east gate, you need to transfer to the scenic spot bus to go up the mountain. The fare is 40/person round trip, or you can take the cable car up the mountain.
Self-driving transportation:
1. Visitors from Beijing can take the Gaobeidian exit of the Beijing-Shenzhen Expressway and walk west on National Highway 112 to arrive.
2. Tourists in Tianjin can take National Highway 112.
3. The transportation from Laiyuan County to Baishi Mountain is convenient. Visitors from Baoding can take Baolai Highway.
