Introduction to Maligne Lake: Maligne Lake is located 48 kilometers southeast of the town of Jasper. It is the largest glacial lake near the Canadian Rockies. The temperature of the lake is close to freezing even in summer, and in winter it is the best backcountry ski resort. The most interesting thing here is the boat tour, where tourists can take a boat to the picturesque Spirit Island deep in the lake.
