Introduction to the Palace of Feng Wang: After the Hongmen Banquet, Xiang Yu's army entered Xianyang, killed Ziying, the last emperor of the Qin Dynasty, and looted the Qin palace's jewelry and property, and then set it on fire. The Epang Palace and the Qin Mausoleum in Lishan Mountain were burned for three months. Later, Xiang Yu returned to Hongmen Fort from Xianyang. Xiang Yu believed that the world at that time was already his own, and the next most important task was to divide the world under the guise of King Huai of Chu. He wanted to divide the unprecedentedly unified Qin State into 19 fiefs. Xiang Yu proclaimed himself the "Overlord of Western Chu". The fiefdom was in Western Chu, and the rest was divided among his eighteen meritorious officials. This hall is where Xiang Yu held the enfeoffment ceremony and conferred the titles on his eighteen princes.
