Introduction to the Harvard Statue: The famous Harvard statue is also called the Three Lies statue. Everyone who comes to Harvard must touch the left foot of the Harvard statue. The three major lies are: first, the sculpture is not Harvard himself but a student of Harvard University named Sherman Hall; second, Harvard himself is not the founder of Harvard University, but a dying man. The former pastor donated half of his estate and all his books to Harvard University; third, Harvard University was founded in 1636 instead of 1638.
