Introduction to Liulin Temple: According to the "Xianning County Chronicle", the place was originally the "Ancient Notre Dame Cave" in the Sui Dynasty, but was later destroyed by war. During the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, extensive construction work was carried out here, and Buddhist temples were built extensively. There were many pavilions and pavilions along the river bank. The temples were closely connected and there was an endless stream of tourists. Because the temple was located in the shade of willow trees on the south bank of the chasm, it was named Liulin Temple.
