Casa Loma Castle Introduction: Casa Loma Castle (Casa Loma) is located in the northwest of downtown Toronto. It is a large mansion that has witnessed the history of Toronto. Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, a Toronto financier, industrialist and soldier with a strong interest in fine art and architecture, dreamed of owning his own castle after traveling around Europe as a young man. Finally, in 1911, Pellatt spent $3.5 million to hire the famous architect E.J. Lennox to help him realize his lifelong dream.
