Introduction to Amituo Temple: Amituo Temple is located in the south of the Tudi Temple at Taigokou on the northern slope of Nanwutai. It is a larger temple at the foot of the mountain in the Nanwutai Scenic Area of Zhongnan Mountain National Forest Park. It is said that the temple was founded in the Sui Dynasty. There was originally a stone tablet in the temple to record events. Because the tablet was lost, the specific time of its creation cannot be verified. It was later known as the South Bathhouse. This temple is located at a mountain pass with convenient transportation. Before liberation, it was occupied by the Kuomintang troops many times. In 1943, Chiang Kai-shek visited this temple when he held a military meeting in Huangfu. In the spring of 1944, Kuomintang members Zhang Zhizhong and Shao Lizi and CCP representatives Lin Boqu and Wu Yuzhang held secret talks in this temple to discuss anti-Japanese matters. Preparations were made for the "Double Ten Agreement".
