Introduction to Shengshou Temple: Shengshou Temple was built during the Renshou period of the Sui Dynasty (601-604). It is said that the mother of Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty once practiced in Shengshou Temple. In the sixth year of Dali of the Tang Dynasty (771), it was called Nanwutai Shengshou Temple. The existing Shengshou Temple covers an area of about 9,000 square meters. The temple faces west to east and is long and narrow. It was a building renovated in the Qing Dynasty. There are three mountain gates and three front halls, forming a complete courtyard. There is a main hall, with brick and wood structure and colorful eaves and brackets. In the hall, there are Maitreya Buddha, Veda Protector, Jialan Bodhisattva, etc. In addition, there are buildings such as Dharma hall, monk's room, and guest rooms.
