Scenic spot introduction:
The Xihe Reservoir Tourist Resort in Baotou City was invested by Inner Mongolia Sunshi Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. and started construction in April 2002. At present, 32 yurts, 1 shower and 1 sauna room have been built. The reservoir covers an area of more than 2,000 acres, with a maximum water storage capacity of 8 meters. It is expected to be able to accommodate 300 people for dining and 100 people for accommodation at one time. The resort has a beautiful environment and complete facilities. There are rubber boats and speedboats for tourists to ride, and carp, crucian carp, Wuchang carp and grass carp are available for tourists to fish. The resort is located in the Yangyoufang Reservoir 3 kilometers south of Xihe Township, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia.Scenic spot qualifications:

Festivals:
1: Mare's Milk Festival → It is a traditional Mongolian festival held in late August of the lunar calendar every year. The main content is drinking mare's milk wine, hence the name. It is usually held on the second tenth day of the eighth lunar month
. The date is not fixed and it lasts for one day. In order to celebrate the harvest and bless each other, in addition to preparing enough mare's milk wine, they also entertained guests with "hand-pickled meat", held horse racing activities, invited folk singers to sing congratulations, and presented gifts to the old Mongolian doctor.
2: Lantern Festival → Every year on October 25th of the lunar calendar, when night falls, every family lights butter lamps to celebrate. The entertainment activities of the day included
horse racing, camel racing, wrestling, archery shooting, tug of war, folk singers and folk dances.

Take the shuttle bus bound for Donghe District at Tumed Right Banner Bus Station in Baotou City, get off and transfer to Xihe Township.
