The Oroqen Museum, founded in 1991, is the first museum in the country to systematically display the history and culture of the Tuoba Xianbei people in the ancient north. It is located in Alihe Town, Oroqen Autonomous Banner. The Oroqen Museum consists of the Oroqen Folk Banner Museum, the Oroqen Autonomous Banner’s 50-Year Achievements Exhibition Hall and the Xianbei Ethnic Museum. The museum is divided into five parts: forest hunters, extractive economy, traditional crafts, material culture, and spiritual culture.
