Gengzi, August 17, Yin
It was already noon when we arrived at Wanxian Tower. The sky turned overcast and raindrops were falling. I didn’t bring rain gear. I checked and found that there was no rain today and tomorrow. It was caused by a few clouds. Why not follow the example of the ancients.
Unconsciously, it has been more than ten years since the last time I boarded the mountain. This time I returned to my hometown, firstly to visit relatives and friends, and secondly, to enhance my children’s awareness of my hometown, and also to have more writing materials.
Passing Doumu Palace to Jingshi Valley, there is a flat stone, more than two acres in size, with inscribed diamond sutras, also known as sun-dried sutra stones. Whether it was recorded in the Journey to the West, the relationship between them is unknown. Now it has been renovated and guardrails have been added, making it possible to walk on it in the past.
On the west side, there are particularly classic carvings of Liangxi Mountains and Mountains and Flowing Waters. The stone on the left is a sword test, and the stone steps on the right seem to have been injured by the sword's energy. The cracks are neat and sharp. However, I can’t remember whether it was complete many years ago. Although I have climbed the mountain many times, I have rarely been here.
Rain fell from time to time on the way, and crowds of people gathered. As we walked to Zhongtian Gate, the sky turned bright and we looked back to the south. The sister mountains looked like hats in the clouds.
Today coincides with the Double Festival, let’s take a walk on the eighteenth plate. After five steps and one pause, every ten steps, the mind will be full, no longer young, and eventually the body will feel weak.
When we arrived at Nantianmen, it was almost dusk. Looking back at Tianjie, the setting sun reflects the red sky.
Looking east from Daiding, there are mountains and mountains, surrounded by mountains and water, and ink is splashed on the paper.
The evening has set, the moon has not yet risen, and the lights gradually rise under the mountain, like the Milky Way leaking to the ground, it is beautiful.
By chance and cause, I was rewarded with this night view, and it was a worthwhile trip.
