Starting from Guangfu Road, the wide Fubao Road passes through Huanhu East Road and enters the Fubao Peninsula. At the top of the avenue, you will see three huge advertisements. A few bold red-billed gulls were walking on the road looking for food as if no one else was around, so cars had to drive by slowly.
When you reach the end of Fubao Road, you will reach the "Fubao Cultural City". On the peninsula, "Fubao Cultural City" is more famous than Fubao Village to ordinary citizens in Kunming, and Fubao Village is more famous because of it. Although "Fubao Cultural City" is an entity run by Fubao Village, Fubao Village is also one of the "Top Ten Famous Villages in China" and "Top Ten Well-off Villages in China". To many Kunming citizens, perhaps "Fubao Cultural City" More familiar.
Perhaps it was winter, and when I came to the "Cultural City", it seemed very deserted. There were no tourists, and it felt a bit different from what it used to be. The theater hall is undergoing maintenance and the water world is also temporarily closed. When I asked the relevant personnel, they said they would not reopen until after the Spring Festival.
In those years, "Fu Tian Bao Di" performed every day at the Cultural City Grand Theater used a very creative water stage to reproduce the historical landscape of Caiyunnan and the long history of ancient Yunnan culture in the form of singing and dancing. Through the scenes on the stage, it was related to The audience traveled through time together and appreciated the market culture and folk customs on the banks of Dianchi Lake.
Behind the Cultural City Theater is the "Indoor Hot Spring Water World" which has won the "Guinness World Best" award. Indoor heated water surfing, rafting and other large water entertainment facilities. Especially in summer, going to Fubao Cultural City Water World has become one of the popular leisure methods for Kunming citizens.

Walking towards the back of the Cultural City, there is the "Yunnan Postdoctoral Research Workstation of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fisheries Sciences" of "China Sea Fisheries". It is said that there used to be a floating vegetable base there. I’ve never been there, so I can’t imagine what the situation was like at that time. Today, the seaside side is just a large enclosed open space with a guard. With the permission of the doorman, let's go in and take a look. There is an elevated shed for outdoor barbecues, but you have to bring your own ingredients.
After browsing around the Cultural City, we headed to Fubao Village.
Fubao Village is located to the east of Fubao Cultural City, separated by the Hai River. There are toll gates at the entrance and exit of the village. Entering Fubao Village, the road is lined with tall street trees, and behind the trees are rows of beautiful small Western-style buildings. It makes people not feel like they are in the countryside. Fubao Village is a famous village with more than ten township enterprises. From the 1990s to later, township enterprises developed rapidly, the income level of villagers was very high, and every household lived in villas. Twenty years later, these small buildings still look up-to-date today.
According to some information, Fubao Village was built in the mid-Ming Dynasty. Since the Yuan Dynasty, water control has gradually dried up the Dianchi Lake, and the land has gradually dried up. In the Ming Dynasty, immigrants from the south of the Yangtze River settled in the fields. Fubao Village was probably established during those times. It can be said that it has a long history of village construction.
Among the rows of small western-style buildings, for some reason, I came across such an old house by chance. These old houses retain traces of history, with yellow adobe walls, gray tiles, and traditional old-fashioned architecture. They bear witness to the changes in Fubao's development from a small fishing village.
According to some information, Fubao Village was built in the Ming Dynasty. Before the Yuan Dynasty, these places were still the waters of Dianchi Lake. Since the Dianchi Lake was managed by Sai Dianchi in the Yuan Dynasty, it gradually dried up and left the land. In the Ming Dynasty, a large number of immigrants moved in from the Mu family's farmland and built villages.
Outside the village and inside the lake embankment, there are fishing grounds, greenhouses, and vegetable fields, bringing people back to the pastoral scenery.
There are many warehouse-style buildings on the peninsula.
A hundred meters away from the Daqing River, the Haihe River flows noisily. At the river construction site, several water pumps pumped water vigorously. On the river bank, a small drilling rig was drilling, and the mud cores taken out were arranged in a row. I curiously asked the drill master what he was going to do with it. The master worker told me that a pump house was going to be built here.
Going down the river, there is a small bridge that looks to be of some age at the entrance of the Haihe River. There are two stone millstones placed in the middle of the bridge deck. I don’t know what the significance is.
The public notice board of Haihe River Chief informs: Haihe River originates from Dongbaisha River Reservoir and ends at the entrance of Dianchi Lake in Fubao Village. It flows through Panlong District and Guandu District. The main tributaries include Donggan Canal, Bromine River, and Laohai River. Their main function is to control floods and drain water in the area. The main water sources in the dry season are tail water from the No. 11 Water Purification Treatment Plant and water replenishment from the Dongbaisha River Reservoir.
The morning sun shines on the wetland near the entrance of the Haihe River, and the calm water surface reflects the reflection of the metasequoia like a mirror. The wooden trestles crisscross the water, and some places are damaged.
The tip of the peninsula, also known as the Cape of Good Hope of the peninsula, is closed by an iron gate. Go around to the lake and go in through the fence. The land is not big. There are palm trees on the green lawn. The blue sky, clear water and morning sunshine set off the scenery. It is a beautiful scenery. A huge stone is engraved with "China Shangma Youth Center". Standing here, looking around, seeing the vast sea, sky, and misty mountains in the distance, I suddenly feel cheerful. Loudly reciting the long couplet of Sun Beard and Weng Grand View Tower, one can truly understand the artistic conception of "five hundred miles away from the Dianchi Lake, rushing towards the eyes, draped in skirts and skirts, joyful in the boundless emptiness". It's a pity that the scenery here is so good, but the place is closed and tourists can't come in. There is only one worker watering the lawn, and the stone fence by the lake is damaged.
At the top of the Fubao Peninsula extending into the Dianchi Lake, there is the leisure resort "Blue Manor" (seems to be also known as "Fubao Fishing Port", and also listed as "Kunming Art Vocational College" and "National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base" ’s brand ).
There is a sculpture that looks like a lighthouse standing in one corner.
In the "fishing port", there are occasionally three or two tourists. On the lake embankment corridor, I encountered three people, grandfather and grandson, feeding seagulls.

After leaving the "fishing port" and walking eastward, I saw a small river, which I thought was the Laohai River, but I couldn't see the entrance to the lake.
The shores of Dianchi Lake, especially the three peninsulas known as the Lakeside Eco-City, are increasingly becoming a must-have for high-end real estate projects. Some media said that Fubao Village has been assessed and tested, included in the planned demolition scope, and has a planned resettlement site. Perhaps soon, the current Fubao Village, one of the "Top Ten Famous Villages in the Country" and one of the "Top Ten Well-off Villages in the Country", will cease to exist and will appear in a completely new way.
In Fubao Peninsula, to the south of Huanhu East Road and to the north of Fubao Village, Zhonghai Peninsula Huafu and Merchants Hai Gongguan have been built, forming a new residential community. Also opening for sale are Yunnan Urban Investment Group's "Shanwan Bay" and Investment Group's "Yongjing Bay". Some media said, "The Fubao Peninsula5 is blooming with high-rise bungalows enjoying the view of Dianchi Lake."
This Haihua Street has the Zhonghai Peninsula Washington on one side and the Merchants Hai Mansion on the other. Opposite the two houses is Shanhaiwan Bay in Yunnan Chengtou.
New road signs have been erected. 
The large number of residential buildings moving into the peninsula will undoubtedly increase the ecological pressure on Dianchi Lake, and measures to deal with ecological pressure will also be considered.
