When I was in school, I liked "Passing Through Your World" written by Zhang Jiajia for a while. In the book, Zhang Jiajia created all kinds of protagonists: some are warm, some are sad, some are bright, some are lonely, and some are lonely. Some are crazy, some are boring, and some are inexplicable, but I can always see my shadow in these stories. The sadness and warmth are enough to comfort me who is lonely in the crowd.

Later, the movie "Passing Through Your World" came out. How could I not follow it? This movie made the beautiful Daocheng Aden known to more people, and also made Chongqing popular because of the graffiti wall in the movie. Because I love graffiti walls with stories and hot pot, in 2018, Chongqing became the city I most wanted to visit.

Chengdu - Chongqing

I've been thinking about going to Chongqing for a long time, but I haven't been able to go because it's not a suitable holiday for dogs. Suddenly one day, I remember it was a Thursday, he mysteriously called me to pack my luggage. The next day after get off work on Friday, we set off for Chongqing. We had all purchased first-class tickets. Are there any surprises? I’m so happy~~~ I’ll take the dog with me, and the dog will bring the money. Let’s go if we say we’re going!

How to get to Chongqing? playing what? where to live? Don’t worry at all, I prepared the guide a year ago, and now it finally comes in handy. It took us more than 2 hours to get to Chongqing by train. Transportation in this society is really convenient now. Thank you to my great motherland.

The first thing to do when arriving in Chongqing is to go to your accommodation. The place where we live is near Hongyadong. It is said that the night view here is very beautiful~~~ (pictured above) The B&B we stayed in was simply renovated from an old house that someone had vacated. The rooms are as beautiful as those we usually see online. B&Bs are still different, but they are clean and hygienic, so I’m not too picky about them. When we entered the door, we saw the heart-shaped roses and red wine that the landlord had prepared for us. We didn't comment on the effect. Just the intention alone was very touching. Thank you to the boss whom I have never met.

There is a large terrace on the roof of the B&B, probably as big as a classroom. Unfortunately, no one built it and only put a rocking chair. Boss, please give it to me, and I will definitely give you a garden-like terrace. With the good terrain and good view, I won’t be afraid of the fire~~~

After a short rest, it was getting late, and the most important thing of the day had not yet been solved - dinner, and dinner had to be Jiugongge hot pot. There is a very famous hot pot restaurant downstairs, arrange it!

My mouth watered when I typed the word hotpot. We ordered Jiugongge, but I noticed that everyone in the store ordered Yuanyang Hot Pot? At the end of the meal, we couldn't stand the spicy food anymore. We seemed to understand something. Was it because it was too spicy? Is there any friend in Chongqing who can give me some knowledge?

Our hot pot! When ordering, I realized that my favorite Thousand Layer Belly was not available, so I had to endure it...

Eating the Jiugongge hot pot that I have longed for, and drinking my favorite pickled plum juice, I felt happy. A hot pot meal felt like a luxurious meal. We ate for more than 2 hours, slowly and slowly, savoring it carefully. We were the first to arrive and the last to leave. We were satisfied with our first dinner. After eating and drinking, take advantage of the beautiful night and wander around Hongya Cave!

The brightly lit place I saw on the Qiansimen Bridge is Hongya Cave. I don’t like to join in the fun, so I just look at the night view from a distance.

# Art Academy Graffiti Wall #

Since it was our first time to come to Chongqing, we chose to visit attractions in and near the city. The graffiti wall in the movie was not found. Even if I left a little regret and a little thought, someone once said to me, "if you remember it, there will be echoes"... We came to another graffiti wall - Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.

We took the light rail to the Academy of Fine Arts. The Chongqing light rail is really an exciting means of transportation. I remember it was my first time riding the light rail. When we were suspended in the air, my palms were sweating nervously and I didn’t dare to open my eyes. , Hahaha, I perfectly explained to you what timidity is, right? It’s a pity that I didn’t take any kind of photos, but only the scenic spots. Now that I’m done talking nonsense, let’s take a look at the Academy of Fine Arts.

The school has more than one gate, but the one we walked through was the farthest one. Well...it's not easy for us as foreign tourists. I haven’t seen the graffiti wall after walking for a long time. Let’s rest where we are.

Finally, after walking for more than half an hour, I saw a graffiti wall. It was actually next to another door. I still haven’t figured out what the other door is.

Another "door"

The existence of the graffiti wall makes this university full of a different artistic atmosphere, with a sharp contrast between simplicity and fashion, and colorful graffiti works. Unfortunately, many people just use it as a beautiful photo background. This time we went to the new campus - Huxi Campus. Due to time constraints, we did not go to the old campus. Next time we come to Chongqing, we will go to the old campus to feel the old buildings, old houses, streets, and feel the artistic nostalgia.

# Watson Garden Dream Castle #

After seeing the graffiti wall, it was still very early, so we ate and drank nearby, and then took a taxi to Dream Castle.

At first I thought this place was just a castle park. After walking around inside, I discovered that it turned out to be a beautiful castle with a story...

"I moved the fairy tale dream kingdom to the cake. "

Liu Chonghua is the fourth generation inheritor of Huashengyuan’s traditional pastry making skills.

"Huashengyuan" cake-making technique first appeared in 1880 during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, and has a history of more than 130 years. His parents' pastry skills were also passed down from his ancestors. According to Liu Chonghua's recollection, his great-grandfather Liu Zhengxin founded Huashengyuan as early as the late Qing Dynasty, and it has been passed down to his mother for three generations.

Before 1983, Liu Chonghua was a small owner of a photo studio. Later, he followed his parents' expectations and determined to carry forward the family business. There is a theme museum here, which mainly talks about how the chairman of Huashengyuan built Huashengyuan.

<Watson Garden History Exhibition>

Around 2000, Huashengyuan had reached a certain scale. He led Huashengyuan to hold two Huashengyuan Chinese cake art exhibitions at the Shanghai Art Museum, and put three-dimensional valleys, castles, cartoon villas, etc. on cakes. The most expensive cake was priced at 680,000 yuan, causing quite a stir in the baking industry. Huashengyuan’s cakes were also called Liu Style Art Cake by the industry at the time. So in 2007, Huashengyuan Golden Cake Dream Kingdom, located in Dadukou and covering an area of 220 acres, began to be brewed and born.

Welcome to continue to enjoy the kingdom of macaron taste

Stepping into the Watson Garden Fantasy Castle, you feel like you have become the protagonist. The entrance is paved with a row of brick-red tiles. On the left are Gothic buildings and many fantasy animal sculptures. The main color of the entire park is brick red, and the castle is all made of brick red. After years of washing, it gives people an ancient feeling.

The building is slightly old, but still beautiful. The sculptures or portraits here have a mysterious and weird beauty...a sense of beauty. Even if a brave soldier stabs a crocodile with a bloody mouth, he will only lament the natural law of the jungle, a kind of A distinctive aesthetic.

Why are these stone statues made like this? A small animal in your mouth? I specifically checked it online, but I couldn't find any solution. What came out were all scary things. Well, let's stop here, otherwise I will make up a horror blockbuster for you.

The contrast of colors and the layers of composition are probably Liu Chonghua’s unique artistic appreciation. It’s unknown how many stories there once were in this rusty old castle.

In Liu Chonghua's golden cake dream kingdom, more than 50 European-style castles were designed by him personally. These castles include European medieval church towers, Renaissance palaces and villas, Roman castles, Swiss gravel streets, European-style towns, etc.

Here you will not feel crowded in Hongyadong, nor will you find it difficult to walk. There are also snacks and restaurants here. If you are hungry, go to the restaurant and experience afternoon tea in the castle. It is quite pleasant!

<Hello little monkey>

It's quite big inside, but we were too lazy to leave. After wandering around, we didn't want to leave. We looked at the tall brick-red castle in the distance and silently said to ourselves: "Don't overdo anything. Just leave it for a while." So, for me, when traveling in Buddhist style, everything I encounter is luck, and everything I miss is fate.

# The last time in Chongqing #

One of the things you must do when you come to Chongqing is to take the light rail to Liziba and experience walking through buildings for yourself. However, when walking through the building and sitting on the light rail, I really can't feel it. It’s better to look at pictures taken online.

<Pictures from the Internet>

There was also the Liberation Monument, but we didn’t go there. Thinking about it, there was nothing worth visiting, just like outsiders visiting Chunxi Road in Chengdu. We didn’t have any plans for the third day and we had to take the high-speed train back to Chengdu in the evening, so after much consideration we went to Ciqikou. Most of the ancient towns are similar and there is not much to see, so I won’t recall them.

We walked around, Gouzi’s luxurious oil tea set

I'm going back to Chengdu, and what I can't forget is hot pot. On the second night, we queued for 4 hours (absolute foodie spirit) to eat an internet celebrity hot pot. This is it. Let me expose it. The taste is not very authentic, which is quite disappointing...

It is said that the most authentic and delicious food in Chongqing is the old hot pot in the streets and alleys. Now I feel very regretful that I have not tried it. This Spring Festival, I have been retreating at home for almost a month, and the more I think about it, the more I want to eat Chongqing hot pot. I left a few thoughts on my last trip to Chongqing. After the epidemic, would you like to have a Chongqing hot pot dinner? Do you want to make an appointment?
